| So following a guide I found on this site as a rough template I got my security system mostly hooked up. Everything works but the remote start, so I am troubleshooting it. I wanted some input on my wiring of the ignition harness from you guys who know way more about Z wiring than me. My ignition harness now looks like: The system is a Viper 533 My harness calls for these connections to be made: Starter output to starter Starter input from ignition 3x +12v Output to accessory Output to primary ignition circuit Output to second ignition circuit I wired these up like so: (ignition harness) -> (harness being splice in for remote start) Black/White (ignition) -> Output to primary ignition Red/White (+12v) -> all 3 +12v Black/Green (Starter 2) -> Output to second ignition circuit Blue (accessory) -> Output to accessory circuit I cut the Black/Yellow ignition wire and did the following: Black/Yellow car side (starter relay car side) -> Starter output to starter side Black/Yellow key side (starter relay key side) -> Starter input from ignition This is the first question, is this wired up acceptably? The car cranks fine, just the remote start is not working. Thanks as always.
